With nearly 200,000 residents, Linn County is the second most populous county in the state of Iowa. It was extremely important to Linn County to have a website that would meet the needs of many different audiences and help position itself as a community portal for county information.

Citizens are able to use the powerful search tools to find everything from building permits to the public health reports on local restaurants. Informatics developed a Content Management System that provides over twenty departments with the ability to update their own content, and includes a built-in Content Approval System.
